Ras Al Khaimah was honored as one of the top destinations to visit in Asia for 2024, as reported by Condé Nast Traveler.

Condé Nast revealed their list of best places to go in Asia in 2024 and the lesser-known emirate Ras Al Khaimah proudly secured a spot on the list. Ras Al Khaimah is known for thrilling adventure sports, unique accommodations, and the novelty of exploring mountains in the Middle East.

Ras Al Khaimah is a peaceful place with the UAE’s tallest peaks and 64 kilometers of coastline. With all the gorgeous rocky mountains and tranquil coastline, Ras Al Khaimah has been a popular weekend getaway for UAE residents and a dream destination for international travelers. They come here to enjoy nature, have thrilling experiences, or just relax. As Ras Al Khaimah gains more international recognition, luxurious resorts are springing up along its pristine coastline.

Recent developments in adventure tourism and the upcoming opening of luxury properties are making the Emirate more prominent on the global tourism scene. The Anantara Mina Al Arab Resort, featuring the country’s first overwater villas, is set to open its doors to guests in January 2024 on an island just off the coast. Additionally, a Nikki Beach Resort with 155 rooms is scheduled to open in 2026.

Exciting developments are also underway in the rocky mountains and along the underrated coastline, with Jebel Jais becoming a hub for hiking and ziplining experiences. Condé Nast Traveler recognized Ras Al Khaimah as a particularly attractive destination for adventure tourism. Opportunities for thrill-seeking travelers in Ras Al Khaimah include a ride on the world’s longest zipline, mountain hikes, unique desert safaris, hot air balloon rides, and stays at explorer camps where guests can learn desert survival skills and brave ropes courses.

Ras Al Khaimah also shines for its award-winning sustainable tourism initiatives and business travel offerings, resulting in the nickname “The Event Emirate” and its rise as a go-to destination for regional and international meeting, incentive, conference, and event programs. MICE planners turn to Ras Al Khaimah for supportive planning and seamless, sustainable events. The Emirate’s emerging accommodation and adventure offerings lend themselves to successful events and enhanced destination popularity.

Trove is proud to partner with Ras Al Khaimah, one of Condé Nast Traveler most highly recommended destinations for 2024.
