We work with stakeholders to workshop, align on a vision, chart a roadmap for growth, and then build a comprehensive tourism master plan (TMP) to maximize impact. Our team works with the destination to understand what the problems are that they are seeing, analyze them, and decide what areas to delve more into. The plan outlines research, specific recommendations and implementation plan towards increased bookings.

We also work with destinations to survey past and prospective tourism investors, develop a tourism investment current state assessment, complete feasibility studies, and chart a path for increased investments. We work to promote tourism investment through social, digital and trade media, and we also manage tourism investment promotional campaigns. Our database of investor contacts ensures a right-fit investor program for any destination - small or large.

How We Help

Strategic Planning involves working with destinations to create strategies, investment plans and implementation plans to focus on where tourism is going rather than where tourism is.

Step 1: Baseline Assessment

The Trove Team will bring together all stakeholders, align on what attempts have worked and which have not, as well as discovery opportunities for tourism growth. In addition, Trove will assess what the current state of the destination's COVID-19 recovery is and help identify gaps.

Step 2: Outreach

Trove’s skilled surveyors and community outreach specialists work to collect data on current state tourism opportunities, strengths, threats and weaknesses. In addition, Trove will meet with tour operators, businesses, attractions and other programs to align on goals and opportunities.

Step 3: Strategy Development

With the North Star vision in mind, the team works to build a master plan that includes opportunity areas, gaps in tourism and visitors, and recommendations that will chart a path for increased bookings. Critical to this plan will be risk management, safety and hygiene & health.

Step 4: Implementation

Trove gathers all stakeholders from corporate, nonprofit and government sectors to help the destination mobilize all of the recommendations. This is usually the most important part, as governments, tourism associations and tour companies will need direct support for implementation.
